Kraft® Grated Cheese is made from the best ingredients. These cheeses are available in a range of moisture levels, cuts and with or without additives and preservatives.
- Parmesan, or "parm," is the name commonly used in the U.S. to describe the very hard cheese known as Grana in Italy. Parmesan is a naturally firm cheese with sweet, fruity flavor notes.
- Romano is another hard Italian cheese and it is sometimes called Incanestrato. In Italy, it's often made from ewe's milk or goat's milk. At Kraft®, we make it exclusively from cow's milk. Romano is a naturally firm cheese with a sharp, biting flavor and aroma.
- All Kraft® Parmesan and Romano cheeses are made from pasteurized milk.
